What are Tags?
Tags are a really simple and efficient way of categorizing data. Instead of using predefined categories for posts, posts can be 'tagged'. This allows posts to fit into multiple categories at once. Tags are also an indication of what a post is about, for example: if I wanted to make a post about all of the different continents, I could tag it with 'geography' and 'continents'. That way, when someone is looking at the post, they can get a simple idea of what the post is about and the different topics it discusses.
You might also be wondering why some tags appear larger than others. The bigger a tag is, the more widely it is used, hence the more popular it is. This is a key feature of the 'tag cloud': a grouping of the tags used in OneLobby. Tag clouds let you see what everyone is talking about and more importantly, what the community has a whole thinks are important subjects. By having these tag clouds, you can quickly figure out the main topics of discussion on any Lobby!
